Now with the main competitions over for the season and the horses having a few days of well deserved rest after HOY it’s back into training. The weather has been great and the horses are ticking along nicely.
I am busy getting organised to travel back to Germany for a few weeks training and working for Leonie and Volker along with Casey Johnson and Britta Pederson. Libusha my amazing rider/groom will take care of the team while I am away. Libusha then travels to Europe to catch up with family in Germany and Ireland and also will hopefully go and watch at Leonie’s stables to gain some invaluable knowledge.
Kylie Baker and Debbie Williams arrive at Leonie’s stables two days before we leave to then start their training and working stint.
Britta will leave Casey and I in Germany to travel to visit family in Sweden and Casey and I will spend three days in Holland - Casey visiting her good friend and I’m catching up with my big dutch family before returning home to our horses.
Thank you to Dairy Flat Community Trust and Waste Management in helping to make this trip to Germany possible, it’s very much appreciated.
