Limonit Stallion The Horse of the Year Show was great - competing in the Oval it felt like I was riding at an International Show.  We were very busy as we were staying off the grounds which was a 20 minute drive through town to the show and a twenty minute drive back again.  Backwards and forwards with three horses proved exhausting and very rushed but still we had great results winning Reserve Medium Champion on Northern Fortuous.  Limonit took out Open Medium Reserve Champion.  Limonit also took out Sport Horse of the Year and also won Stallion Sport Horse - a great result.

Doringcourt came 4th overall in his Novice Championship coming 3rd in his Freestyle Title Class with over 70% and 2nd in 2.3 with over 70%. Unfortunately in his 2.6 title class he got a fright from some spectators jumping up in the small grand stand right by the arena just as he was about to go into his test.  He lost concentration a little and ended up in 3rd place putting him 4th overall.  I was thrilled with him as this was his first big competition away from home.

Wayne Williams travelled to HOY to watch and help me warm in, he was a wonderful help  - thank you Wayne.

Wayne is based in Sydney and rides the beautiful gelding “Comedian” who has been very successful at PSG level.  Wayne will be making his first start in Grand Prix in May.   A strong NZ combination to watch out for in the future.
